Whatever happened with "raw almonds"?

Hey, I remember a while ago hearing almonds were no longer gonna be raw cuz of some government thing.

Did that ever happen?

I am sitting here eating some "raw" almonds now wondering if they are raw, lol.

Yep. There are very rare especially in the U.S.
