I'm looking for some raw healing centers. I've already looked into hippocrates institute, optimal health institute, but these are too expensive. Does anyone know of a place to go for 3-4 weeks that is reasonably priced? Preferrably in the south (or anywhere if it is good). thanks!:o

Does Alissa still do those 30 days retreats at her B & B? I don't know if that would work for you, but it may be worth looking into.

I stayed at the Optimum Health Institute in Lemon Grove years ago. It was the least expensive program I could find at the time. Have you checked Tree of Life in Arizona? I believe you have to call or email for rates. They used to have a program where you could work there for a reduced program fee. Maybe some of the other ones would offer that, also.

Wish you success in your search.

The centers are all usually expensive unless you can find one that offers either a scholarship you qualify for or has a work program. Another option is to find an expert willing to work with you on an individual basis in you area, which would save money on lodging. Or you may find a good deal in other areas on lodging or staying at the coach's home.

It's not in the south, but I think True North (in Santa Rosa, CA) has reasonable rates compared to other places. They specialize in medically supervised water and juice fasting. The director and head of research there co-wrote The Pleasure Trap. I think the url is www.truenorth.com.

Here are two to consider - though I don't know about the pricing.

http://sanoviv.com/ - they take detoxing to a new level - food, water, air, clothes, building materials, electromagnetic waves, energy, etc.
