I found some Mung Beans that say.. For Cooking or Sprouting right on the bag at my local HFS. I bought them because.. well why not..
Any delicious recipes you care to share would be very helpful, I am about to go dig through Alissa's bible.. I mean book.....

Try Alissa's Pad Thai. Awesome! It's in her book. Enjoy.

I made sushi the other day with a spicy miso paste, sandwich mix sprouts, red clover sprouts, alfalfa sprouts, mung bean sprouts, bell pepper, carrot and avocado. YUMMERS! :D
Last night, we layered all those (same order) on a plate, topped with chopped peppers, Alissa's Ginger Vinaigrette, and sesame seeds. VERY yummy! :D
HTH! :D

did you buy a spicy miso paste? Never have seen that in the stores, or did you make it spicy?
