HI out there if you are anything like me and suffer from candida and are following a superstrict diet to try and get rid of the little buggers but crave something that tastes a wee bit naughty then give this a try!

Its sooo easy and tastes a lot better than you think it will......

I was making almond milk and wasnt sure what to do with pulp.

I had about 1/5 cups of almond pulp and mixed it with a large apple that i shredded, then I added some Lucuma powder probably 2 tablespoons, mixed it all up, and then got a cookie cutter and placed that on the teflext sheets, and put inside the cookie cutter the mixture (about 1 inch thick) and pressed into the cookie cutter so that it was a really good shape.

I dehydrated overnight at 115 degrees, then flipped over the next day, removing the teflex sheets so that it was sitting on the mesh.

I removed them when they were still a little doughy........Also what you could do is mix up some coconut oil/butter with some more of the Lucuma powder and use as icing and put the cookies in fridge so that they make the icing set......

a truly healthy treat that wont hurt candida - although dont eat the whole batch!

these are quite tasty considering the only 'sugar' is from the apple and a little from Lucuma.

Of course if u arent suffering from Candida then you can add some Agave (1 tablespoon?) and some sultanas.

Anyway hope you like out there!

They take about 5 mins to make! so easy!

Anna :)

I get Lucuma from Shazzies website (quite well known over here in Uk?)
just google Lucuma to get the information about it - it tastes AMAZING!
