Hi All! I'm doing a completely raw Thanksgiving dinner tonight for my family and I will definitely post pictures and reviews of everything, but for now, here are the recipes I'm using:

--Noasted Turkey (Alissa's book)

--Mesquite BBQ Sauce (http://rawfoodtalk.com/showthread.php?t=45373&highlight=mesquite)

--Miss Hamlins Cranberry Sauce (Alissa's book)

--Rosemary Mashed "Potatoes" (http://rawfoodtalk.com/showthread.php?t=46158&highlight=rosemary+garlic+potatoes)

--Sweet Potato Fries (sweet potato cut like fries, mixed with lime juice, cumin, cayenne, and nutritional yeast...thanks for the idea, Aleesha!!)

--Green Bean Casserole (from Gone Raw):

Ingredients:

fresh green beans
1 batch mushroom soup, water reduced by half, http://www.goneraw.com/node/15768
¼ cup red onion, sliced very thin
½ cup chopped mushrooms
2 pieces of your favorite onion bread, sliced into thin strips and dehydrated until crisp
Preparation:

1. I bought very fresh thin green beans and then cut them into small strips (French cut). You can either freeze them and thaw to soften or dehydrate them for a while.
2. When you make the mushroom soup, cut the water to half the amount called for in the recipe in order to make it thicker.
3. Mix green beans, onion, mushrooms and soup.
4. Then top with the strips of onion bread. It can be warmed in the dehydrator if desired.

For onion bread, I used the Rawvolution recipe that's posted somewhere on the board.

--Applesauce (Alissa's Book)

--Barfi (http://roshis.com/barfi-and-potluck/#more-117)

--Fudge (I'm not sure where I found this recipe, but somewhere online):

Ingredients:
1 cup medjool dates and a vanilla bean cut into pieces
(soaked in just enough water to cover overnite to soften)
3/4 cup raw cashew butter
1 cup raw cacao powder
(peel and dehydrate cacao beans then grind up to a powder)
3/4 c. raw carob
1/2 c. raw mesquite
1 T. coconut oil
splash of agave nectar
pinch of salt

Blend all the ingredients in a powerful blender until it is a smooth batter. Line a glass baking dish with wax or parchment paper and pour on the batter. Freeze for a few hours, take out of freezer to cut into squares and put back into freezer. Must keep in freezer.

That's it for today...tomorrow I'm bring Ani Phyo's Apple Pie to the inlaws. I LOVE that recipe and it's easy. It's all over the internet...she even has a youtube video to show you how to make it.

I'll post pictures soon, I promise!
