Anyone else seen these? Whole frozen goji berries. Noticed them the other day whilst strolling through the frozen aisle...I wanted to buy a bag, but didn't have the extra cash on top of my what I was already purchasing (it's almost $8.00 for a very small bag). One of the ladies who worked there told me that they are yummy, and "since they can't get fresh goji berries, these are the next best thing."
I'm sure I'll be trying them soon....just curious if anyone already has? :D

NO WAY!! That is so cool! I will definitely check it out next time I am at whole foods.
Yeah, I've bought them a few times and put them in smoothies or nibbled on them out of the bag. They are good, but at that price I won't buy them very often. I know they are good for me but so are a lot of other things that are cheaper:)

I just wanted to thank you for letting us know about this - I picked up a couple bags at WFM yesterday. They were $6.99 a bag, which I thought was very reasonable, as I am used to paying $13/pound.
I would never have known about this had it not been for your post, so thanks a lot!

I was at WF today and I saw the berries! I didn't buy them because they weren't organic :( . Some foods I will eat non-organic, but definitely not foods from China.

yeah, we cant even get organic DRIED ones here :( so i wont touch them. and its funny how here some people dont have a clue about the potential problems with stuff from china--i went to buy siberian ginseng supplements in an hfs, and there was a sales rep from one of the companies there. of course he was trying to sell me their brand.. but it wasnt organic, but then none of them were. i said well, how do i know its chemical free etc if its not organic. he said, oh, well, its from china, so ...[basically trying to imply to me that i shouldnt have to worry about it... HUH???HUH??? what? does he really think that they dont use pesticides in china or something? HELLO!!]... I told him that that "wasnt very reassuring to me"... LOL.

I think Himalania's goji berries are organic, and that's the brand I bought.
I am in the middle of nowhere right now using my air card for internet access and can't force myself to wait again and again for their flash heavy website to load on this very, very, very slow connection to confirm this, but that is my recollection.
I was able to pull up a product page at Amazon that seemed to suggest that that's indeed the case, though.
