I'm trying to come up with a recipe for a fruity, spicy tea punch. I'm basically trying to replicate something that I had years ago at a Hare Krishna restaurant - so long ago, in fact, that I'm not quite sure I even remember what it tastes like. I was thinking of juicing apples, then adding agave, cinnamon, nutmeg.... ummm... tea? I don't know.

Has anyone made something like this before?
I want to bring it to my big family Thanksgiving celebration, as an option for those not wanting alcohol or soda or iced tea. Kid-friendly. I'd like to keep the caffeine to a minimum, for my sake and that of the kiddos.
Any suggestions for a raw punch would be appreciated, in fact.

Sounds like it might work. Make a glass and see how it taste before you make a lot. Have a RAWonderful Thanksgiving.

I make this too only I toss it in the vitamix and blend it until its slightly warm and frothy. I also saw a nut nog recipe somewhere that sounded good. I usually just do a thicker version of nutmilk with almonds, dates, vanilla ro almond flavor, cinnamon, nutmeg, or spices of choice to taste. I use warm water with this in the vitamix for a warm nut nog. Enjoy!!

wow, that sounds killer! I think we've decided to go with a lighter spritzer for thanksgiving, but i'll have to try that out for the christmas spread!
