I need a tiny reward! Under stress and without any way out last week I gave in to cooked cravings... to make a long story short i scarfed my old favorite conacado chocolate bar for the first time in a year...after some even worse desserts, stuff i wouldn't have eaten at all before i was raw.

This week that isn't going to happen! But the only indulgent raw treats available in the town i'm visiting are cacao nibs and... more cacao.

So I will order one little something premade from online.

What's the best raw dessert you've tried from an online retailer?

Thanks for the advice!

I don't have a raw dessert from online yet, if you'd like to make one ~ no dehydrator needed ~ do a search for the coconut caramel cookies on this forum, then browse that. I put a recipe for a really simple raw fudge on it. It is sooooo good! :)

The best I've had was a box of plain "raw chocolate". I'm pretty sure it was from the raw bakery. Just cacao and agava dehydrated. But they were individually rapped and came in a cute little box. VERY good!

I just checked and I don't see that they offer them anymore. :(

But I also saw that they offer raw muffins! I'm going to get a few of these myself.

Also check these guys out, looks SSSOOOO good and the ingredients sound great too:

Our next planned "date night" me and my husband are going to order our meal from rawlifeline . Now that could be a while, but I'll let you know how it is when we do get it.

I get their strawberry cheesecake at my Whole Foods Market! A few other flavors too but I like the strawberry best!

The Rawlifeline.com looks really neat. But, shipping would kill me. I was thinking of ordered their one meal plan that was 40.00. For my state, shipping would be 32.00.

Think I better stick with trying to creat these dishes myself. But, I might order one of their desserts!

I've been getting the Chocolate Lara bars, it reminds me of a brownie. They are raw, but not organic.

Mmm, great ideas...keep 'em coming! Looks like I just missed the rawlifeline ordering deadline for this week. Is the earthcafe in Vegas, RVM?

I am going to try the caramel coconut cookies as you suggest, Revell, adding raisins and soaked almonds... assuming one of the local natural foods stores carries dried coconut (it would be a strange omission). Never would have thought to add nama shoyu to fudge... how very creative :) I don't use nama shoyu but there just happens to be a bottle in this house, hooray. Sharing info with Curious friends has some good unintended effects!

If you like lemon...
I really enjoy the Lemon Swirl cookies available on several of the raw websites like www.rawfood.com and www.eatraw.com. They're just tangy and just sweet enough and the package is a good size to enjoy (BTW - I NEVER liked lemon cookies cooked - wouldn't touch em). They are the only raw 'cookies' I have found that I enjoy...until recently when I tried the cacao cookies from eatraw. They're really great too...taste a bit like raw choc chip cookie dough, but a bit different too. These would definately help me through a tight spot.

Thanks for all the suggestions! Lemon bars sure sound good. I made the cookie dough -- ! Om'goo'ness. Hope this taste for sweets doesn't last too long.. or i'll soon be made of coconut flakes and not fruit! heh!
