agrave and MC

I like to use agave and lime juice from time to time when doing a master cleanse. I found that I lost more weight using agave (it has less calories and lower on the glycemic index).

What is MC? Other than MC Hammer.

MC = Master Cleanse fast. It's based on drinking several glasses of "lemonade", made with 1/2 lemon (juiced), 2 Tbls maple syrup, and 1/10 tsp cayenne pepper in 10 oz warm water.

You drink 6 of these a day.

I have read that agave is ok for shorter cleanses (10 days) but not longer ones due to the lack of nutrients. I can not recall where I read this so if anyone has any more information, feel free to chime in :)
