Vitamix Dry Container Question

What do y'all use the dry container for on your vitamix? Now I've finally got a new vitamix (not the 40 year old 3600!) with all the bells an whistles, and I haven't used the dry container once yet.

So far, I've come up with:

1. Grinding flax seed (my coffee/spice grinder thanks me!)

Niether have I and I have had mine for some time. I have another one that I use for grinding. At least now I can tell them apart.

Bingo. Use the dry container for flax seed. Of course, a cheaper option is just a new coffee grinder...but that takes up more shelf space.

You can also grind up nuts, spices, sunflower seeds. I often grind mine up in the dry container first before make an almond milk or nut butter in the wet container.
