tesco sell cress, for 25p, looks like sprouts ?

My question is , what are the health benefits of it ? and is it healthy ? and is it a sprout

Its not watercress . I was confused at first when i first saw it. Just cress.

And does anyone eat it?

theres also something called landcress thats similar to watercress. its probably that. i tried to grow this "cress" stuff youre talking about; it came in a seed packet. youre supposed to grow it between paper towels, and i finally gave up and tossed it because it kept going mouldy on me and it was too much hassle. actually someone gave ME the packet in the first place because they thought it was too much hassle..then this summer someone else offered me a packet as well that they didnt want. i said no this time ;p sorry, cant tell you if its worth it, but id imagine its nutritional value is similar to watercress... maybe try it and if you like it, buy more. doesnt sound like its organic though...maybe if you like it try and grow some yourself?
