I have for years had big problems with really dry skin, specialy on my hands that develops into ezema. I had hoped that it would get better on a raw diet, but no luck yet.
Do any of you have any experience with dealing with dry skin or and idears of what to do ?
I have for the record tryed ALL kinds of creams, oils, fats ect. I eat flax seeds and oil, olive oil, and avocados everyday. I might not get water enought since im not good at remembering to drink, but that might be the only thing that I havent tried ;)
Any experience with high salt ? or low salt intake ? to help the skin. Any other idears ?

All idears will be highly appreciatet :D

Water. Definitely. Increase your water. You should try and drink 1/2 your body weight in ounces. Like say you weight 100 pounds? Drink 50 ounces of water daily.

I know when I don't drink enough my skin (hands especially) get horribly dry. And I sometimes get a dehydration headache!

So, up your water. You'll get used to drinking it. And your body will crave it.

Force yourself to drink water, and more than you think you need. I can tell when I need water because my lips and skin dry out.

Thankyou for your replys :D

YEs I should up my water intake. But I just dont really feel like drinking the filtered water I have, dont know why. It use to be fine, but now ?. I crave springwater, but the only one I can get is bottled water, and that is not really springwater (most of it anyway) and then there the environment factor of all the plastic. So im looking around for a solution :)

YEs Bananna I have poor circulation, always had. My hands and feet are almost always cold. Could be it ?

Thankyou again :D
