Any ideas for fun/maybe slightly fancy finger foods? My meetup group is having a movie night this week, and instead of a full-blown potluck, we're just having finger foods while we watch 30 days raw. Cool, huh? I'd love some ideas. I brought fun dips and crudites last time, so I'd love to bring something different. (I don't have a dehydrator!!)
Or maybe some kind of punch?
Whaddya think?

I like sandwiches made of little squares of onion bread with sliced tomato, lettuce and Swiss nut cheese.

sushi rolls? nori filled with whatever.
OR< once I made these "thai poppers" with a dipping sauce. use pieces of lettuce and put fillings with the 4 different flavors in them: coconut, lime, some kind of ground nuts (almonds, i guess. i used peanuts but i was cooked then), shallots, hot pepper. wrap into "bundles" and serve with a thai dipping sauce (nama shoyu sesame oil lime a bit of sweetener, dash of hot pepper, ginger, etc, or, if u want to do soy-free leave out the nama shoyu)

I really like thin slices of cucumber with a yummy pate on top. You could make it really festive with garnishes on each piece. Somewhat time consuming but a big wow factor.

oh oh oh oh oh... how about a nice eggless deviled egg dip stuffed in some mushroom tops and some jalapenos cut in half... stuffed with da bomb cheese sauce. place them in your oven on the lowest heat for one hour... and then pull them out, put them on a platter and serve them. they do not need to be warm to serve... mine never are.
sooooo good to take for finger foods!

If anyone's interested, here's what I ended up making:
I was inspired by the sauerkraut/nori wraps I read about in another thread. But since the nori got soggy fast, I used collard greens instead (1/4 leaf per roll, then cut in half again once stuffed). I made a delish cheese spread, put that with marinated mushrooms (kinda spicy/oniony/miso-y) on half the rolls, and sauerkraut/homegrown sprouts on the other half. They turned out just fabulous.
I also made the RP brownies, which were to die for!
Unfortunately, I showed up at the movie night with all my goodies, and nobody had told me it was cancelled. Oh, well. I shared some with some raw-curious SAD friends and it all went over splendidly. A success, I think! Thanks for your help, can't wait to try all your other suggestions, too!

I like to eat fresh raw grapes while watching a movie instead of popcorn.

Oh, the movie Raw for 30 Days (Simply Raw) is good. Frozen grapes are fun to eat too.
