Wheat is a grain. Buckwheat is a seed. They are not related. To use wheat you will need to soak and sprout it. Then use for breads, crackers, etc.
You can also make a cracked grain mix, soak over night, drain and enjoy as a cereal. Top with nut milk and berries.
Crack the wheat, oat groats etc in a FP. Just to a crack stage!

Do you have a raw recipe book? If so, any recipe that has rye or oat groats can be replaced with wheat. Alissa's book has many recipes with wheat. One I have not tried yet is Sausage on page 412. Going to make the un-chicken page 413 tomorrow. The lentils will be ready then. Plan to freeze most of the patties for Thanksgiving. :)
