My health food store started selling premade raw recipes! They have macaroons and "cheese" cakes in different flavors, both are awesome!

It's about time they start selling premade raw food!

Mine too. I have gotten brownies and cinnamon rolls. I wish someone would do more in the way of raw crackers. The sweets I can live without.

Wow! You're both so lucky. I am going to search my store next time I am there. Are they Whole Foods stores?

I have a store near me that sells things but they are SO expensive like $7 for a slice of pie! its just hard for me to get myself to spend that kind of money on something i can make myself
come ON! S E V E N dollars? thats a total rip off.

whole paycheck also sells pie slices and they are about $6.
pity.
they all look really good.
but they wont be getting my hard earned pennies. LOL

i wasted money on Roxanne's Cuisine at whole paycheck. the food was expensive and tasted awful! i can definitely make it better (and cheaper) myself ! hehe

Hopefully the health food stores in the states will catch up with the ones in Canada.

I thought I heard Whole Foods or something like that in the states already sold pre made raw meals.

the whole foods near me dont do that... they have raw pies slices but thats about it. i dont know if they are any good becuase i wont pay $7 for a slice of pie. LOL
i have never seen them selling any raw meals. but i am sure they would be astronomical in price if they did.

It's a step in the right direction, but really, this is the reason why it's good to learn how to prepare goodies yourself. But in a pinch, especially if you're travelling, a few pre-made goodies can be a godsend. I do look at the ingredients on stuff like the various crackers and breads to get ideas for future dehydrator treats though.

Nothing here yet ... but I live in the land of fried chicken and biscuits - UGH! The only raw food I've ever had (other than a salad) is the raw food I've made myself:).

Blessings,
Heather

We have a few items at our health food store but they are REALLY pricey and you hardly get any. Although I think of the time and effort that goes into them, not to mention the price for ingredients and I can see why.
