One Day Water Fast

I'm going to do a one day water fast today. My Mom passed away on Friday and I have been emotionally eating which is never a good thing... so I want to clean myself out and get myself strong for tomorrow. I'm traveling up to assist her hubby with her things tomorrow... so I want to be strong for him.

I figured I'd post this in case anyone else is water fasting right now or simply wants to light a candle with me today.

I'm going to yoga this morning... think it'll be good for my mind and body - since sitting still is really hard for me right now. Then I'm going out for coffee with a friend (I'll be drinking warm water)... soooo glad to be doing water today. Ahhh the sun just came out as I typed that... sooo nice.

I will light some candles with you and for your mom. You are such a strong person. Remember though that tears are good. I still cry. It's been 26 years since my mother died.

I am so sorry for your loss. My deepest sympathies to you and your family. My Mom also has gone ahead, there is not a single that day that goes by when I don't think about her and miss her soooo much. I take comfort in the memories of her. (((((HUGS))))) to you dear one.

I can't imagine a single day going by where I won't think of her... and miss her face (as she always put it).

Thank you all. I ended up not water fasting. I did until 2 but then my hubby said to me "Honey, you don't need to be trying to water fast during this... you are already a mess... let it go." and I realized that I just didn't have the strength to fast today.

I know I will another day.
