I would love to lose 25 lbs.I have tried it all herbalife, southbeach, ect 3 mile walks turbo jam no weight loss not even a inch lost :(.......I was always tiny I am only 5'0 and before my last pregnancy I was probably around 100 lbs......Well I breastfeed for 2 years and I just couldnt lose weight no matter what. I actually still am the same weight I left the hospital 135lbs thats pretty chubby on my height, and to boot I feel tired all the and I am snappy with my kids:eek: and the world because I am holding onto this extra weight. All I can think is somewhere in my mind I am keeping myself chubby to keep men away as I used to be a very sexual person and men have took advantage and hurt me,my littlest ones father was emotionally abusive and left me while I was pregnant, but is with his child everyday now so he is a good father:)......My last diet adventure was the fat flush plan really like the cranwater but I dont see how a person can detox the liver as the book states by eatting stemmed veggies and eatting meat:confused: I know meat is very acidic to the body..........Do I go raw? TIA

I would say try out the 30 day challenge (and yes, you can still join even though it's day 8) ... what have you got to loose!

Blessings,

You've come to the right place, there's a lot of great support here for newbies! Congratulations for being aware of your health, and the underlying issues too. You see, you are waking up to a new level of awareness, and those painful things are arising to be healed. While you are on the 30-day raw challenge, I would strongly look into counseling with someone who specializes in abusive family issues to do the other inner healing work you need to do to help you release that weight. To take that even further, a good shamanic energy worker can REALLY help too - the voice of experience speaks here in that department! It is truly amazing, once imprints and blocks from abuse are cleared, amazing transformations happen. The very best of luck and love to you in your healing - you deserve the very best!

You owe it to yourself and your kids to reach your highest potential of health, on the physical, emotional and spiritual planes. I wish you all the best.

Another thing you might consider is reading Alissa's book and watching her DVD.....you will then know all the in's and out's of being raw, you'll have a book full of recipes and know how to do it and then if you want to do the 30 day challenge, you'll have the knowledge you need to do it. Wishing you the best!
