I want to make a juice for my cold (mostly runny nose, cough and lost voice...not a sore throat though).
Anyone have a juice book that says what kind is best for this? Thanks!

Neti pot. Trust me. You use this and your cold will vanish!

Grape
Lemon juice in warm water.

Ooh I have a neti pot...Blechhhh I just hate that feeling of drowning. But I know it helps.
Thanks for those juice ideas...I just bought ginger and I have a few of the other ingredients there too. Thanks!

Drowning? I never feel that way. You need to bend over more. Tilt your head more.
Hmmm, feeling of "drowning" or feeling ill? Which would I prefer??? :p

I've actually been drinking a LOT of carrot juice and limes combined. Love it! Takes the sugary carrot juice out and give it a bite w/the limes.

Chop up a clove of garlic into pill size pieces and swallow down as many as you can get down. It made a HUGE improvement in my cold this past week.
Hope you feel better.

Oranges for Vit. C!!! Garlic is good, too, for getting rid of any lil' bad boys in your body!
Attached is the recommended treatment for colds in children but should apply to adults just as well. It is from Harry Benjamin, N.D.'s book, "Everybody's Guide to Nature Cure."

Apple juice is good for cutting mucus. Hope you get feeling better soon.

I mix garlic and lemon. Tastes awful, but guaranteed to kill any cold before it even gets started. Best cold cure EVER.
