I am thinking of buying this Blender. Does anyone on here have this one? Should I buy this one. I seen it on Youtube and it looks like a good one. But I bet some of you have this and can let me know how you like it. So Please let me know and thanks so much Doug in Calif.........

I do have it. I LOVE it now, but the first one I purchased was defective and couldn't even blend a banana, lol.
This better one is GREAT. Much better than a Vitamix in my opinion as I watch my friend use her VM. It's very powerful, does everything, and is bigger than a Vitamix. yes, go for it...definitely my best purchase thus far.

I have both the BT AND the VM. I LOVE the VM. The size of the container, the way the dials work, the fact that no smoozie comes out the top of it. I only use the BT for traveling. I use the VM daily and have for about 12 years now.

How old is your Blendtec, Revvell? The new ones are quite different...all high-tech with a digital screen, etc. Not that newer and more modern is better, but it's much different from the older models.

I don't know but it's "hi-tec" w/ touch thingy's and the container is way too small for a really nice big smoothie... it comes out the top. Messy. I don't like messy.
Another vote for the BlendTec - we just love it. I chose it over the VM because I didn't want to bother with its blend stick or have to clean around all the knobs and dials. I'm sure it's a great machine, but the BT won out for me. *Ü*

Well thank you all so much. I Just Ordered the New Blentec HP3A I like how you can clean this one up real easy. I have a Vita Mixer and it is much harder to clean. I found a place in Arazona, One state from me so it should get here In a couple of days. I got a good price for it too. 350.00 and free shipping too. I am really into green smoothies so this will be good for that too. Thanks Again Doug in Calif...:)

I now have a Breville blender that has digital pre programmed cycles like the blend tech and I really like them, without those cycles I have to sit there pulsing and blending manually with the buttons, with my Breville's cycle I can be putting my ingredients away as the computer handles the pulsing for me.
I got addicted to these pre programmed cycles so when I get a high speed blender it will almost certainly be the blendtec. My Breville's blade has jammed twice, both times replaced under warranty, but now the warranty is out so next time it jams its $55 for a new blade (it is a $200 blender).
Hopefully it'll last a while longer but a high speed blender is the only thing I'm missing, not that my Breville can't do what I want it to, but 2 $55 blades falling in less than a year is not good, they say the new blade design they sent corrected that problem, so far it hasn't failed but it's only been a few months, and I do use it several times a day.

I have the Blendtech HP3 as well and I am very happy with it- BUT the the jar has only 1 year warrenty - my jar just broke shortely after the warrenty expired and I have to replace it which is sth between 50-100$, this is already the 2nd jar that I have to replace that way and I am not happy about that,
In that respect the VM is def a lot better

I've had and used my VM for 12 years now. Just purchased two new (1 large; 1 small) containers for when I do demos. I still use the original one at home. As far as cleaning around the dials.. a circle around with a wet sponge.. done. Um, the dials/front shouldn't be getting messy anyway. What's that about?

You've obviously never let kids use your Vitamix!:p Mine was all fine and good, until they started using it. Even hubster makes a big ol' mess when he uses it.;) However..... that being said, them using it means less of me having to make everything for everyone all the time. So it's a sacrifice worth making. :D
