Juicer or Vita-Mix

So my juicer broke down - but luckily it did so right before I started the water fast I'm currently on. In the near future I will need to replace the juicer and I'm curious whether I should do so or should I go for a Vita-Mix even though it's dramatically more expensive.

It seems like there's more versatility to the Vita-Mix but I'd appreciate hearing feedback from others!

Vita-Mix! You can even make juices with it.

They're 2 completely different appliances so it's really a matter of what you need it for.

I second the Vita-Mix suggestion. They're easier to clean than a juicer, also.

I've watched the demo videos on their website and I tried some of the juice during a demo at last months' Texas State Fair and must say I was quite impressed with how it tasted.

I need to start pulling the pennies together now!

I use my juicer now and then but the the vita mix is used EVERY day and many times more than once. You'll love your vita-mix.

Well, I love my juicer, but once my blender hits its near, which will be soon, I will be investing in a vita-mixer. I'll know what the hype is about then!

I have a juicer and a Vitamix. Of the two I would invest in the Vitamix for the following reasons:

1. You use all the pieces of fruits/veggies - more nutrients
2. Great warranty (7 years)
3. Super easy to clean
4. Very versatile- makes juices, smoothies, soups, salsa etc.



I really do not know how I lived without it - I use it every day (I can not say that about any other appliance in my kitchen)

I have a vitamix and a greenstar. I make juice more often in the vitamix just because its much faster for me. I love my greenstar and use it often but the vitamix is the bomb.com in my kitchen. Besides juice, it grinds nuts to fine flours, makes the best smoothies, sauces, dips, shakes, etc. Its well worth the extra cash. Go get it girl!!

Same here. Like my Greenstar, but couldn't live without my Vita-Mix.
