I bought pound of cacao powder and stored the plastic bag in those large salad containers from Costco veggie dept. Now I can't find the container.

Can anyone take a walk through my house, including closets and garage and let me know where it could be? I can't believe it and wondering if my hubby though it was trash in this container and tossed it without even seeing signs of brown. It smelt so fabulous I'm sure he would never do such a thing. I bet I hid it from myself but where oh oh where can it be??????????

Thanks for all help. I can't even smell any chocolate around here. I checked closets too, pantry and still no hint of the smell that will grab you.

You need Guidance from a Higher Source......I often have to ask the Holy Spirit for directions because He said "He would bring everything to your remembrance".

What usually works for me is to walk around with my hand out. My hand will instinctively be drawn to the missing object, even if I don't see it right away.

Tonight I was going nuts because I managed to lose my nephew's birthday card. I had it sitting in my lap. I hadn't gotten out of my computer chair. So where could it have gone? My mind was telling me it must have slipped out of my lap while I waited for my daughter to sign the card she was giving me.

But another part of me was telling me something else. Then I remembered that I had handed my daughter some wrappings from the gift box she had used. I had told her to throw them away. I asked her to check the trash where she had thrown the wrappings. And sure enough! The card had been thrown away as well. Whether that was her fault or mine, we do not know. At any rate, we found the card.

So try retracing your steps and if that doesn't work, walk around every room with your hand out and see if you are drawn to something. If that doesn't work, try sleeping on it. Sometimes things come to me in my sleep.

If you don't feel you hid it from yourself, maybe ask your dear husband if he maybe pitched it by accident. Would help solve the mystery. Hope it does turn up for you, though. Makes some really enjoyable desserts and beverages like nothing else.

Mystery solved.

Embarrassed to say where I found it. In front of my eyes. Truly where I type and my computer is. I NEVER put food there but I suppose it was in a safe place so safe it disappeared from me.

I already made a bomb out with a pinch of the cacao powder. It was okay, but would probably do better with more agave as used pinch as ran out, and some vanilla. I added goji berries, some pecans, lemon thin slice. Put all into food processor with a teaspoon of cacao powder. It was tart sort of and yet sweet. Make sense, but that's how it tasted to me. My hubby though sweet.

I want to make Alissa's chocolate fudge cake or something like that still.

I think this will go a long way and one pound will last well....

Thanks all.

Spicy, yup I understand about H.S.
