trying to think outside of my spinach box here!! ... What other greens go well in green smoothies if not all...
I am going to Whole Foods today and I want to try something new!
I am at a point where I do not use a lot of fruit, so ....good tasting greens please!

Any "field" mix is good. That way you get a A LOT at once. Try to keep it organic and if not - wash really well.
I always add a lemon to my smoothies.
Mint is fun too.

I like rainbow chard. Very smooth, no bitterness or grassy flavor. Lately I've been on blending it with oranges, or pineapple and strawberries. Sometimes I throw in a handful of spinach with it. Also, a very light sprinkle of stevia

One of my favorites is dandelion greens. My body just wants to dance when I have a dandelion smoothie! But you'll want to add more fruit because there is a strong flavor. Kale is really good too, but again, you'll want more fruit than the spinach because it is a stronger flavor. Bananas and mangos work great at masking stronger greens.
Props to you for working in more variety!

i use spinach, romaine lettuce, beet greens, collards, chard and kale. that's all i've tried so far. i don't think kale is very strong, but the texture doesn't break down as much (at least if you don't have a vitamix or blendtec) but it's good.

I love spinach too, but I also like to use kale, rainbow chard, romaine, collard greens. I'll basically throw any green plants into my smoothies to experiment, but I'm partial to spinach too. My body seems to be needing it lately.
