is my coconut raw? [Archive]

It says it's dried, but not necessarily at what temp... I got it at the HFS. It's Bob's Red Mill "unsweetened, flaked coconut," "unsulfured," "all natural." It says to refrigerate after opening.

Whaddya think?
I know fresh would be best, but that's not really feasible for me. Plus I mostly want it to make delish chocolate macarooooons!

Probably not, but who knows... Why not call the company or if it's bulk, find out who provides it...

I always get my coconut flakes from Alissa, and they are DIVINE and definitely raw.

Same here... In fact, my last order of the flakes I opted for a 5 ib bag so I wouldn't "run out". :)
