So I'm on day 3 .... and I'm wondering how good/bad it is to take my supplements still? I don't take many, but they are something I wish to continue.

How do you work supplements into this lifestyle too?? :confused:

If you really live on fruits and vegetables, you don't really need supplements. About the only thing our bodies cannot make is Vitamin C. It seems that we do need a whole lot of it, especially if our life is stressful. If you eat a lot of ripe tropical fruits, you probably get enough of it. I like to get extra ascorbic acid, I put a teaspoon of it along with a teaspoon of MSM in my morning water. Some people think you should supplement with B12, but it accumulates in the body and anybody who has eaten SAD or vegetarian with dairy and/or eggs has enough stored to last many years. Once your system is cleaned out, you will have enough good bacteria in your gut that will make the B12 for you.

The supplements I take are for acne (sulphur) and depression (inositol) :confused:

I think you will be able to cut back on both of those, the longer you stay on raw.

hi emma t,
how many times do you take your msm? i haven't taken mine since it came couple of days ago. i'm still doing m/c & am on day 15, God willing i want to do 25 days. so far so good. but i have really been preparing for my after the cleanse & i'm adding msm to my probiotics & coenzyme q10 that i have been taking when not cleansing. thanks

I try to take it every morning, but I have ADD so I forget it quite often... They say ADD gets better with raw, so there is hope :D

You can make it work best by using whole food, organic supplements whenever possible. Regardless, they shouldn't interfere with being raw especially if you need them. Hopefully you can eventually cut back or eliminate them the healthier you become.
