Hi out there!
I am a big fan of oats, i used to have porridge every day before i started this change. Is there a reason why people dont like to eat these or have them in recipes - and use oat milk etc?
any comments would be fabulous!

Most oatmeal, the kind you usually buy in a store, is not raw.
Oat groats (whole oats) are often not raw.
Raw oats can be bitter. Alissa does sell raw oats.

I LOVE oats! My fave breakfast right now is soaked oat groats, coconut milk and goji berries. I subsitute oats for nuts in nearly every nut based recipe (not realy a big nut fan, they don't agree with me and I don't agree with them;))

Grains usually end up being something seldom or never consumed the longer you're raw. Mainly because they're often difficult to digest. Occasionally or as a beginner, it can be something enjoyable. Like the raw rolled oats Alissa carries. It's important to use truly raw sources and to soak them overnight.

I haven't tried oats in anything yet...I suppose that's next. Flax seed makes a great substitute, though.

I bought Alissa's raw oats, but I really didn't like the taste, and they didn't agree with my tum. I used to love oatmeal, particularly in cookies, but now it just seems like glue to me.
