Have only had two durians and both were frozen and then thawed for eating and were quite good. The smell was not so bad; the flavor was worth it. Having been raised back east, was surprised of my own openmindedness to even try this. Now I'm going to have to make a trip to the Asian market to see if durians are available. May have to try the ice cream next.

Wow I have never seen that fruit, does it taste like any other fruit?

I made ice cream the other day just with a fresh banana and frozen strawberries (*YUM*) I am going to remain the fat vegan with all this yummy stuff!!!! LOL
