are snap peas in a bag raw?

so I bought some pre-packaged snap peas at my organic food market in the fresh section, but because I've found out recently that so many of my other favorites are actually processed before they are packaged, I'm now wondering about these. Does anybody know if these are raw or if they do something to preserve them for longer?
