my raw candy is ready to go to market!

Here are a few pics of it in the drying process- also a pic of a sheet of my chocolate hazelnut goji bars=)

Moderators- if we are making something Alissa does not sell, is it ok to toot our own marketing horn? :D

anyway- I have been working on this for awhile now, its so nice to see it come to this point!

thanks=)

I am in WA, seattle area- as soon as I have a pro kitchen- which is looking like next Feb or so- I will begin to sell online and through a few retail markets.

For now , I can sell holiday treats to anyone that would like some , just for the next few months.

thanks to you guys for all this- I would have never gotton this far without all your support!

Looks good! Have you thought about selling it at holiday bazaars or craft shows? Lots of those going on in November. If you do, let me know and I'll try to be there. :)

The "Raw Network of Washington" president is just opening up a raw store called Thrive, you should contact them.

Good luck!

You aren't set up to accept emails via this forum... so email me instead!

Be careful posting emails in public places, there are programs scanning every page of the internet for email addresses and spam the heck out of them, I've had one email account completely ruined by doing this many years ago, it now has about 10,000 emails, all of which are spam.

okay who wants an update on this? i ordered some of three flavours... and OH MY GODDESS AM I IN HEAVEN RIGHT NOW!!! i am sitting here munching on the orange/cranberry... what an absolutely beautiful flavour this has!

it faired really really well in the post... and honestly, i have no idea how this yummy treat can even leave your kitchen... i'd be standing at the dehydrator eating it WHILE it was drying... there'd be nothing left.

*note: do NOT invite me to come for a visit... unless you have NO shipments that week as i will ABSOLUTELY 100% EAT ALL YOUR gRAWnola!!!*

hmm... was that a really helpful post? perhaps not.

okay, it's chewy and crunchy and full of flavour. not intense like "OH MY GOSH THIS IS TOOOOOO MUCH" but rather... tastebud-stimulating-i-could-eat-this-entire-bag-and-not-get-overloaded-with-the-flavour kinda experience.

does that help? *stuffs another piece in her mouth and ....*

Aleesha,

OMG. You are too kind- I was SO nervous for this review, I have not fed any to someone I did not know yet- for all I knew, everyone was lying to me, LOL!

I am really excited to have created something that , as far as I can tell, is not yet available in the raw food scene yet.

We really are not set up completly at all yet- like no labels, etc- but I am happy to send anyone that wants some of my candy at a lower price than what it will be selling for once we go offically to market=) Its still pricey, but its all nuts. no fillers.

Thanks again Aleesha- and thanks to all of you hare at RFT- because without your support, I would not be here peddling this candy or starting our company. SO exciting!

hehe, never fear, I just made a brand new batch- and I am trying out a better agave- more flavor, seems to have more favorable reviews of it being raw. I also have been soaking the leftover pods from my vanilla beans in it...mmmmm.
