Hi there I am new just starting out and taking things slowly.

I normally have muesli that is organic for breakfast that has oats, buckwheat, rye flakes with sultanas, cashews, almonds, linseeds, sunflower seeds. It has no sulphuric acid in it and is untoasted. Is this Raw? And also is organic live yoghurt raw? i dont ever seem to see yoghurt in any recipes anywhere so i am assuming it is not ok to eat it on this diet. Is that because its an animal product?

Is there also a list of foods commonly thought to be Raw but in actual fact aren't and would someone be able to kindly tell me what they are?

Thank you !!
:)

Email the manufacturer of the cereal. They will tell you whether it is raw or not - most likely it is not. It can still be baked without being toasted.

This site is raw vegan. It doesn't endorse dairy products. However, there are raw foodists in the world who consume raw meats, cheeses, milks, etc. We just don't discuss those things here on this forum. As to your question, the "live" part of that is the live cultures. The organic yogurt itself is not normally a raw food.

All that said, are you trying to go 100% raw or just high raw?

Hi Frugal

not sure yet really i do like to be extreme so perhaps i will get to being 100% raw! i would like to cut out all meat except for sometimes fish, but just seared fish not properly cooked - ie if i go to a japanese resturant and can't get anything but that etc.

i will be going from eating soooo much meat to hardly anything, and i am looking forward to seeing the results!

i dont have any equipment yet, have to save up for the good juicer and dehydrator etc......its not cheap doing this but i am glad i will be!
