I may have asked this before, but is there a raw restaurant in Buffalo? Syracuse? And how far apart are those two cities?? Thanks.

There is nothing in Syracuse. :(
There is a tiny raw food place in Ithaca called Everything Wellness. They do have a website. I haven't heard of any place in Buffalo, but I'm not really sure.

Actually Everything Wellness closed. Forever. Yup, last week. The owner had to move away due to illness in her family. Hopefully she can go to them, feed them raw foods, heal them, and come back.

Hi! I live near Buffalo and I have yet to find a raw restaurant here. There are many health food stores, grocery stores, a wonderful co-op (Lexington Co Op) where you can certainly buy raw things, but the only raw restaurant that I knew of (I think it was called Health eez) closed a few years ago. Incidentally, Buffalo is 3-4 hours away from Syracuse and Ithaca. You might want to try Rochester, which is 1/2 way between Buffalo and Syracuse. Good luck!:)

Actually, we are building a raw restaurant in Bennington, NY (it is between Buffalo and Rochester, about 45 mins from downtown Buffalo) and is slated to open next summer. I know this doesn't meet your raw food needs now...but it will next year! It will also offer colon hydrotherapy, massage, meditation, etc and has 8 overnight guest rooms for anyone wanting to stay longer. It is on 80 acres and I'm happy to make the announcement on the forum in response to your question.

Sounds great! Here in Ithaca we have a raw food retreat that sounds similar except no restaurant...just raw foods for the retreat...it looks cool but I can't afford it. I think it's called the Mind Body Retreat.

Thanks for your enthusiasm rawviveyourself! I've had many people ask why we would build this in western NY and it is just because there is nothing here!
I have been doing colon hydrotherapy here for almost 3 years and it is definitely time to open a wellness center. I hope to meet you in the future.
