I soaked some wheatgrass seeds to grow my first 2 trays of wheatgrass. I have heaps of soaked seeds left over and i had a little nibble and they are really yummy. Are these all right to eat? my tastebuds say yes but i like to check.

Also would these be the wheatberries that are used in heaps of Alissa's recipes, some ingredients have different name here in Australia and i haven't heard of wheatberries

Thanks :)

I do think wheatberries and wheatgrass seeds are the same thing.

I hope so because they are so yum, i could just eat a bowl full, they are really tender with just the right amount of chewyness (EVen though thats so not a word)

Should be sweet too, yes?

lovely and sweet, i just went back out to the kitchen and had another little nibble. they would be really nice in a museli type dish, i've tried museli recipes before with oat groats but didn't really enjoy them as they were way to tough. But these will be lovely
