Good Morning Everyone -
This may be a strange question - this has only started since I went raw and changed my way of eating - every time I have a bowel movement and that is daily - I itch SO bad - think that area got irritated on the skin - only started since raw - could I be detoxing? Parasites leaving? I thought possibly hemmorhoids (know I spelled it wrong) but don't think that is it, I do have a fishers hook - whatever that is LOL - according to doc - not bleeding or anything just very itchy - especially where your toiler paper rubs against the skin of the inside LOL..I know to much detail but just wanted you to understand - anything for the itching??
Thanks everyone for your help

Not a strange question. Just make sure to clean yourself very well "down there". Maybe use wipes?

Could it be the detoxing/parasite thing? Like I said only started since raw really...that is why I am thinking that - will get some wipes to use - a few times it happend and I used wipes it did help but didnt have anymore :)

Could be detoxing or could be the fiber you are now consuming and your body is not used to getting rid of that. Look at baby's butts. Well, don't make it a point to look at them, but if their diaper is not changed right away, foods, which theirs are pure, free of any crap (we hope), but foods will irritate them, creating a rash.
Be sure to drink enough water too.
You may want to use an unpetroleum product too, to help protect it "down there".

Thanks SO much for your info - didnt think of the fiber aspect of it :)
Unpetroleum product? What should I get? I will get it today to help along with the wipes...
The good end of it LOL - not that way LOL..I lost in 6 weeks tomorrow 32 pounds and so many inches - didnt measure that but joined gym and there Mon-Fri on treadmill for almost 1 hour - this is awesome!!
Feel so much better - energy sky high, get around better due to arthritis in knees - just such a turn around - oh the best part - went for my blood readings for the blood thinner - I knew it was to thin due to bruising like you wouldnt believe - they said I was suppose to be between 2-3 and I was 4.19 so I had to not take meds frid & sat and restart sunday and go back for reading on friday - just have feeling it will be decreases and I am on the road to a full recovery and off this blood thinner once and for all....waiting on my thyroid reading - know I will get off thatto - will add green smoothies once off the blood thinner but want to add them now :(

I think it's yeast, personally. ...which if it is, the more you scratch, the worse it gets.

Yeast from the colon?

It is detox, it happened to me when I first went raw. Only I wasn't brave enough to post about it here.
My explanation of it is this: when we are eating cooked food, our bodies are too acidic. Then, when we go raw, we release all of the excess acidity. We release a lot of the excess acidity through our colon, and it can be very irritating down there while it was coming out. I used petroleum jelly to protect, but as VFL pointed out, an un-petroleum product would probably be better.
Congratulations on relesing weight and on getting off the blood thinner meds!

Yeast? If so what do I take to get rid of it?
Thanks Raw: makes perfect sense - I know I wasn't going to post it but thought oh man why not LOL
I will get wipes and the unpetroleum jelly - how long did it take for it to stop for you Raw? Thanks for being honest and helping.. I am not off the blood thinner med yet - they said it was to thin and had me stop just for two days and then start back up again but have to go for readings on friday and know they will have to decrease the meds :)

Im not sure what's gng on, but please stay raw. Whatever it is this way of life will correct it. Good-Luck!
Have you starting eating a lot of raw onions and garlic but did not before?

Yeast infections can happen there or any other place techinically. How to get rid of it...there are a variety of schools of thought on that. Low fat vs. low carb, cleanses, garlic, and on and on.
Your best bet is to just give it time and try not to scratch it.
could be yeast but also could be parasites. you can ask the doc and get a pretty quick answer to that question and use a topical treatment in the meantime.
