Hello my fellow rawkin people. I am still new at this and was wondering if it's better to juice my own greens or use a raw powder based green drink. I currently have a terrible juicer. I can get more juice out of my pulp than what's in my glass. I thought about getting Alyssa'a GD until I ordered another juicer b/c this juicer will laugh if I try to juice leaves. It has trouble juicing apples. It seems like the natural juice would be better. Any advise? Or recipes for newbies?

I will just Bump this up for you.......I don't juice much anymore. I let My body get its juice when I chew RAW. :) You are doing fine, just do what you can do at the time and with Staying RAW things will go well for you.
Eat RAW and save ALL your money to get the Juicer you really want. Have a RAW Day.

I vote for getting your greens in Green Smoothies. Do you have a blender? That's all you need. I don't have a Vitamix, just a Kitchen Aid blender, but it still makes great smoothies. If I couldn't make smoothies, I'd eat my greens. I would opt for powdered greens only, if there were absolutely nothing fresh to eat.
green smoothies all the way if they're organic. i'd go for the powder if they were organic vs. conventional green smoothies.

Fresh is always best but the powders can come in handy if you can not get fresh.

I use Alissa's green powder and I also juice. In the winter it is less expensive for me to add the powder to things I juice then try and go out and find all the ingredients seperatly.
