I have been on this extreme green smoothie kick.......they are really helping me stay 100% and feel great.

However, they are too cold!! I cannot keep warm in the cold whether and it isnt even that cold yet! im not sure if I could stomach a room temp green smoothie.......ive never actually tried it ...

when I drink something cold I feel it moving through my body, making me gradually freezing cold as it goes down. I just drank one and I am so cold my body hurts.

OFF TO BLOW DRY MYSELF!!!!

I don't like cold drinks either. So I just don't use ice in my smoothies. If I use frozen fruit, I defrost it in the refrigerator the night before. Would that work for you?

Are you adding a lot of frozen fruit??? I usually keep it to a minimum (although I do love to have SOME frozen fruit in mine!) and instead of gulping it down, I eat it spoon by spoon. This gives it a chance to warm up in your mouth instead of feeling like a quick attack of the frozen smoothie! :)

I guess it's sort of still on the same subject. What is your green smoothie recipe? I eat a lot of salads, but I don't think Im getting enough greens as I get full quickly.

I just finished a room temperature smoothie, and it was different, but fine. Almost could taste it better cuz my tongue wasn't freezing by it. On the downside it wasn't as thick as it normally is frozen.

But I'm Not cold.

I usually use fresh fruit, not frozen, and so mine aren't cold. I would recommend putting some fresh ginger in though if you are using frozens because that will keep you warm :)

Alot of times I use only fresh stuff, so it really is room temperature but then I add maybe 3 small icecubes....which makes it cool but not cold and it thickens it a bit.
