Hi,
I have been 100% raw except for one thing--chewing gum!
I want to be 100%, but I consider it a necessity in the professional sphere because I can't sit in meetings or talk to clients with onion breath.
Does anyone know of any raw substitutes for gum? I would really appreciate some suggestions, as I strive to stay raw on every level.
Thanks,
Peatrix :)

Now I have "heard" never tried though... chewing on parsley or cadimum (sp?) is supposed to freshen your breath.

umm , I think juliano recomends blended ,dehydrated banana ,strawberry and kiwi or "fruit leathers" ----- also you could try glee or peelu ,theyre "natural" brands.
Any high-chlorophyll green-leafy should aleviate odour - esp a few blades of cereal grass (e.g. Wheatgrass or Barley grass).
I've heard of the parsley recommendation, too.

Why not skip those bad breath items for evening....then you won't have to breathe on anyone right after eating.

We chew on wheat grass here. Almost everyday. I don't even get bad breath anymore. :D

i chew a gum from the health food store...
it contains NO sugar whats so ever... just peppermint oils for flavour!
its obviously not raw....... but im obviusly not hung up on the whole " i need to be exactly 100% raw " thing.....
white refined sugar.. and any kind of " fake " sugar is a HUGE no for me tho.. i wont let it enter my body by any means... so i was super glad when i found this gum at the health food store :D!

The truly most wonderful smelling breath is from chewing
mint leaves
cardimon seeds
cinnamon sticks
fennel seeds
and my favorite, chocolate mint leaves, these taste like Ande's chocolate mints YUMMY
