ok lads, I am 98% raw now since 2.5 month and I have not lost a single pound so far :mad::mad: (ok I haven't gained, but still)
I am not going crazy with nuts, since I don't like them and have a hard time digesting them, even soaked ones. And I do rarely dehydrated foods for the same reasons.
My typical day looks like that
BKF; smoothie made od 1 young coconut (water and flesh),fresh banana, frozen fruit (nothing added), green leafy veggies
Lunch: Big salad with cos lettuce, tomatoes, carrots, red beet, onions, avocado, olive oil (3 tbsp), raw red wine vinegar or lime juice
Dinner: soup made of young coconut (water and flesh),any available veg and spices, salad
Sins: 1 espresso cup of espresso, with 1/8 ff milk:D ( before raw i did about 3 cups of coffee with 3 cups of milk a day)
it is really extremly frustrating for me, since when I read this forum that people who only go 70% raw still loose weight not to mention those who do 30lbs in 30 days. I have about 30Kg (60lbs) to loose
has anybody experienced that as well?
would be very greatful for some advice and uplifting since I am starting to to struggle and have incorporated cooked foods out of comfort back into my diet for 7 days now (very unhappy about that), since i get the feeling does nit matter anyway since nothing is happening on the scales nor on my jeans waistband

Seems to me that you may be eating too little? Your body may be in famine mode? Maybe you need to eat more meals to make sure you get enough calories and up the exercise regime? I know that I can go for weeks without losing any weight, but my problem is over-eating :o

Do I read correctly that a typical day includes 2 whole coconuts (water+flesh), a whole avocado, and 3 tbsp of olive oil? That's a fair amount of fat calories if I'm not mistaken. It's easy to believe that energy in equals energy out in that case, leaving you with a constant weight.
Your food sounds delicious :D
I'm pretty much in the same boat -- with 45 pounds to lose. I haven't given up caffeine in the form of green tea yet. I'm thinking of cutting that out to see if I don't get better results.
Anticipating the replies saying that weight loss is not the point:
Of course being healthy is a higher goal than weight loss, but being a healthy weight is part of being healthy, too. In my case, a better weight will mean better sleep (sleep disorder), and it would be a lot easier to exercise without injury. I'm sure there are plenty of other reasons to justify weight loss desires besides simple vanity.

I used to eat 3 or more avocados a day and also had oil in my salads, etc., but I still lost weight. I don't drink coffee, but don't know if that makes a difference.

I hear ya! A lot of people say things like that. I was hoping that would happen to me, too. I guess I'm still hopeful;)

I think it's the coconut meat (young or not) that has most of the fat. I dunno ... but it seems rich so I thought that means fat.
I'll stop typing now ... I don't know the answers!

Eating several small meals (5-6) is usually the first suggestion I make for someone who wants to lose weight. Often people can lose weight just doing this alone, before any dietary changes or even exercise (obviously those are important as well).

I think you would benefit by eating more food! Try a short green juice fast or green smoothie feast if you're feeling it also. I bet this will definately help you release weight and reset your system. Otherwise, keep doing what you're doing but make sure you eat more food. Lucky. :D

I don't think its the amount of raw fat you eat rather your metabolism. I am in the same boat. Originally I did mostly salads and green smoothies. Recently I added in deserts with coconut oil, coconut water and flesh, an occasional avocado. I've given up sodas and caffine. On top of this I have been eating this around a year. Not all was 100% but have been totally over the last month. Before it was 80-100% raw. My main challenge is getting enough exercise working 12 hour shifts at work I come home and collapse. Are you exercising and how much? You have to build muscle to burn calories better.

Maybe you should try a juice fast? Also, a colon hydrotherapy can make you lose TONS of weight. I'm not exaggerating! Sometimes it's not so much extra "fat" on your body that is making you heavy, but extra baggage in the colon, if you get my drift. Time to unload some of that poo...
