View Full Version : Fast/Cleanse After CT Scan

Oct 25th I have my CT Scan for my back injury, and I am a little scared. I have a small phobia of radiation and "medical experimentation" (as the "illogical" wounded self feels it). I'll get through the process just fine, because I'll just suck it up and go through it.

I would like to do a fast/cleanse starting the day before and continuing after to help rid myself of the dye that they are putting in me. As an energy healer, I am aware that the dye can actually cause many dis-eases when not completely expelled from the body. I'm scheduled with my friend for a healing a few hours after to help my body heal from the radiation exposure and help my energy bodies expel the dye on the higher levels of my field.

OK that's the explanation! I've never done a fast or a cleanse before. I have researched it endlessly, of course, and I have decided that a juice and water fast is best. I'll pretty well be only drinking carrot juice, water, and a flush with some salt water when/if my body tells me it is right to do. This will go on for a week, or until I have "two days with no symptoms of cleanse."

For the fasters on the forum, may I ask if you have any advice or tips, particularly relating to expelling dye from the body? (Or, any advice or experiences with CT Scans?)

Thank you all!

I've had CT scans and chemo therapy and will probably spent the next 50 years detoxing. I think you are on the right track. I would add apple to the carrot juice. The combination aids the liver to get rid of the toxins. It's really the liver you have to concentrate on, since it's the organ that will be cleaning up your body. Additionally, make sure that your intestinal tract is clean to help take the toxins out of your body. Dandelion greens or dandelion root tea is also good in aiding the liver, along with milk thistle. I no longer do CT scans, because I think they do far more harm than good.

Great advice thus far. My best wishes your results do not show pysical imbalance/illness. Having gone through way too many medical procedures, would probably find a good liver cleanse kit and start immediately after the test. Drink tons of water (one of nature's greatest healers)--what is not eliminated is definately recirculated. Green smoothies rule in my life, so won't hurt to be there with those.

Again, best wishes for your optimum health.

Thank you both so much!

Ah yes I live on green smoothies, too!

Oh, yes I forgot to mention that I bought some milk thistle to help afterwards, and I make my own teas so will be drinking plenty of dandelion root tea. I will definitely put apple in my carrot juice - thank you so much!

That's really funny, Aleesha. Love your irony.

The spammers seem to be taking over this forum. Where are our moderators?

We don't really have moderators any more from what I can tell. I have sent a message to Alissa's office asking if they would like me to (NOT BE A MODERATOR) be able to delete spam, and I did not receive a response. I know the person I spoke to was brand new, so I'm sure she had a million things to do! Just sent a follow up. It is SO EASY to be able to just delete the spam if they want the FREE assistance! :)
