You can put nutritional yeast in the freezer, but it will clump together, so you'll need to either freeze it in individual, single serving baggies, or thaw the entire can before use.

clumping is ok ...cant it be broken up with a spoon? the can is unopened right now because i still have some i am using up but its going to expire shortly.

so what i would plan to do is freeze the whole can unopened and then after i need to open it.... take out a few cups at a time and keep it in the fridge...and put the rest back in the freezer.

would that work? i guess i only worry that the yeast will not do well in the freezer. are you sure its ok to freeze?

thanks

I would as RAW Strength says, open the can and pack the yeast in indivual servings and then put it in the freezer. It will be worth a little more work in the beginning than later. You can get some "snack bags" to put it in. Why thaw and re-freeze the whole can everytime you want to use it? Just get you a little packet out.

Its YOUR Choice..........
