RAW Nori

I bought Alissa's raw nori that I never opened and they have expired...do u think they are ok to eat,lol...they smell fine...just curious

I would think so. HOW long ago did they expire? I'm eating goji berries that "expired" in June...and I'm still typing...

I normally don't put stock into such things as expiration dates, which are a fairly new invention and don't really mean anything (a lot of things have an exceedingly long shelf life, but the manufacturers HAVE to give an expiration date, so they make one up). Just out of curiosity I checked the nori sheets I'm currently using. Expiration date 02 01 07, so early 07. Nobody told the nori, so it's still good!

The sea veggies at the natural foods coop that I volunteer at expired, and they gave them all to me, for free! I eat the best food ever, always, and for free.
