Okay, I have been easily easily raw for the past 10 months, give or take a few slip-ups. I kept thinking I'd have a fabulous raw pregnancy and it would be easy as pie b/c I hate cooked foods and they make me feel gross anyway.
Well, I've been for the past 2 days feeling pretty yucky, nauseous, morning sick, etc, and nothing raw sounds good. What sounds good? Toast. Lentils. Beans. Brown Rice. But there's no way I'm going to eat that stuff.
I do need crackers though...raw ones...as a substitute for all the carbs I'm craving. I have made about 5 different recipes and never found one that I LOVE. Can someone please share a great recipe? I'm not picky, but bland suits me better than extra spicy these days, and I don't do whole flax but could easily grind them up. Thank you soooo much.

Do a search for "Ritz Cracker" using the banana at the top of the page. There's a recipe that keeps coming up from time to time that people swear is very similar to a Ritz. I've never tried it but have heard all the raves.

Raene,

my local whole foods has a section of raw snacks by "Lydia's Organics". They have these crackers that are just amazing! My friend, the junky eater even bought some because she loved them so much!

I just went to the website and here are the ingredients for the Luna Nori crackers (my faaave):
Sprouted almonds, carrots, celery, scallions, sprouted flax seeds, dulse, lemon, original himalayan crystal salt™.

not sure what sort of a chef you are, but perhaps you could re-create the recipe from the list :) the crackers are delicious, but expensive!

also: congrats!! :D :D
