i got some poppy seeds...and some chia seeds. can these be put into the freezer? will they still sprout if they have been frozen?

Yes. It's fine to freeze them. I do it all the time. Think about nature and cold climates. It's part of living and life.

All seeds can be frozen without significant nutrient loss.
Some seeds will sprout after being frozen, others will not. Some seeds will only sprout after having been frozen. Some seeds will only sprout after having been burnt - how wild is that?! It depends on what type of climate the plant was meant to thrive in.

oh yeah. LOL i have heard of that stuff about seeds needing to be burnt...as in forrest fires. but these 2 in particular ....i dont want to mess anything up.
ok then i guess into the freezer they go.
i really REALLY need a bigger fridge! i need a drawer JUST for cacao. LOL
