I think I am going through some detox. Last week it started with a metallic taste in my mouth (that is going away now) and a yeast infection. I also am breaking out with pimples and have been sneezing since yesterday. I can handle everything but the yeast infection! It is driving me crazy and I don't want to go to the store to get anything. It has been a week now since it started. Is there anything natural I can take? Any foods I should be eating or avoding? Help I need relief!!!!!!:o

If you have yeast that could be candida build up. Candida Diet http://www.rawfoodtalk.com/showthread.php?t=43244&highlight=candida+diet
and avoid all sugars and fruits. A great book is "Rainbow Green Live-Food Cuisine" It's explains it all.

Garlic & GSE (grapefruit seed extract) will help. I know there are varying opinions on the use of garlic as a raw foodist, but it works to get rid of yeast. If you're brave you can put a peeled clove directly in the area which is impacted by the yeast infection for a few hours. Make sure you put a couple of fingernail pricks in it to release the anti fungal properties and use a pad for the runoff. An alternative to do this in conjunction or solo is to take a warm bath with one cup of raw apple cider vinegar to relieve the itching immediately.
GSE in a few drops of water will clear up the yeast also.
When I had a bad one I used all three remedies and it was gone within a couple of days. I was detoxing/retracing as well and I haven't had one since. If you're healing your body, sometimes you will experience symptoms in reverse in the extreme. It's actually a really good thing.
Hope you feel better.

Thanks for the tips! I think I will try the GSE. If that doesn't work I will try the garlic trick too.
Oh gosh I hope I am not retracing! I have worse things to look forward to if that is the case! Like severe migraines, herniated disc in my back, and bronchitis and pneumonia! Uuuugggh. i will take a yeast infection any day over any of those!

Probiotics will help too.
