So ever since I went raw I've been feeling really bloated. My raw friend says it's the toxins coming out, or whatever and I'll get to the point when I just pooooop. I don't know if I'm the same way, considering she's cronically constipated and I don't have trouble pooping.
Ever since going raw, though, I've felt bloated and gassy almost on a daily basis. Is this just bad food combining? Has anyone else experienced this? I just want some RELEIF!

If you do a search here, you'll find many are experiencing this.

It could be your stomach isn't use to this much fiber and you've got more toxins coming out than your system can handle, it could be bad food combining....

Try eating one food at a meal and enough of it to satisfy ~ and 5-6 "meals" per day. It's working for me.

after going raw i've been bloated almost 80% of the time!! I DO NOT LIKE THAT

here are my top 2 things from a year of experimenting:

1) two huge glasses of water in the morning... drink fast and watch yourself running to the bathroom in 10-15 min. :D

2) Chia seeds! i usually just eat one big spoon of them with some water in the morning, then during the day and maybe sometimes more. if bloating creeps on me- chia is the magic bullet!!!

GOOD LUCK!

You could be sensitive to food combining. For instance, i am ok with banana and i am ok with raw honey but both together give me gas. So I use raw agave if i have banana in my recipe.

Try to give much time to digest before having the next meal. Fruits tent to ferment in our guts if we don't consume them on an empty stomach. They seem to be ok to be mix with greens and some fruits such the banana. I prepare desert with apple and nuts, and it seems to be ok with me. So, i would recommend is to pay attention to your body response after you eat some food.

Also chew, if we don't chew our food throughly they will waste in our guts too because they cannot be digest. We need to mix our digestive enzyme from our mouth with our food and chew that food even though this is a smoothy.

Perhaps, you may want to consider to consult a colon therapist to cleanse your guts with water.

I don't seem to have this problem anymore and i only made small adjustment.

Best wishes
