I will prob end up googling this but: what is lecithin? What's it made of and why use it in raw cake recipes? And does Whole Foods have it? I am going to WF on Fri so if they have it, I will prob get some.

I think that it helps to break down fat in your digestive system.
Some are soy based but I think that they can get it from other sources.
It's not raw, and I usually skip it but still end up with great cakes and whathaveyou.

It's usually made of soy or eggs. Sometimes corn. It's an emusifier.

Really? I think I will try that as well. If it doesn't work, then I can always add it in the next time.. (except, I do not use eggs, so if it's made from eggs I will skip it).
