Hey everybody -
So I was chosen to be featured in an online newsletter as client of the month. I love, love, love Alissa Cohen and this website (and all youze guyze!) but the first exposure I had to raw was from this guy's website and ebook, Yuri Elkaim. So when they asked for a testimonial, I had to give it!

Thanks for the inspiration. I wait tables, too, (thankfully only one night a week so that I don't have to be around all of the food), and already no one gets while I never nibble or drink any of the caffeine in the pop.

awwww, shucks! thanks for all your compliments, everybody. totally made my week! i know, sport - i wouldn't've believed this kind of advertising before i wrote this for them - nearly unsollicited... i just totally believed in the information they're putting out there, so i sound like a complete cheerleader!!

oh, and the pic was taken a few months ago - before i'd even heard of raw. i'm seriously the least photogenic person i know, but my friend raquita is an amazing photographer (she just started up her own business). i hope she'll do my after shots!!!

No kidding...you are gorgeous. And I'm sure you'll get more photogenic with age.

I was thinking of becoming a waiter, as well, since there's a lot of money in it, but I'm a bit afraid of losing my diet if I start being around all the "bad foods" again. I have weak willpower. :)
