I didn't see bananas listed, and I am bad about storing them. My friends give me tips that contradict each other. So, where and how should I store them?

I use the evert green bags for all my produce and it lasts a long, long time. I don't wash anything before storing and I also try to make sure it is dry as possible because moisture tends to build up in the bag.

I wonder why it says not to store potatoes near onions?
