hee haw raw

I've been 100% for a couple of weeks and am really starting to feel magnificent. Was trying to describe to a friend what it felt like and found myself interested in how other folks might describe it. Feel like giving it a whirl?
It's like you went yard-saling with your best friend on a sunny Saturday morning and laughed and laughed and found a great chair that completely makes your living room look great. Then, you took a fantastic nap, woke up, put on some great music - and started getting ready for a date with a guy you're really excited about. If you could freeze the moment when you're dancing into a pair of great looking jeans - that's what 100% feels like to me. How 'bout you?
LOL, that's lovely.
I think it's like all the clouds (sadness, confusion, etc) lifting, and the sky opening up to a wonderfully sunny and clear day. :)
Have you seen "It's a Wonderful Life"? I can't help but think of it seeing your name. If you haven't you won't understand. But, they sort of banter back and forth in the movie saying "hee haw" a bunch of times.

90% feels like all of my cells are singing in unison some beautiful song I can only half-remember from a fading dream. 100% I feel I am singing with them ^_^

This is so beautiful..oh CHL where are you?
I agree with all of the above--and will add that it feels like hope is shining form me and illuminating my path in a positive direction. Everything is easier to handle. Truly the peace and welcoming love of the universe shines on me and helps me make sense of it all. The sunrise joy of a Garden of Eden.

Well, that just about sums it beautifully up!
And the song thingy with the cells. :D
I'd add to that feelling like a kid with so much energy and excitement and laughinig with your kid friends till you're drunk on the laughter and happiness.
Mind you I still can feel sad, but it's not heavy sad, it's not gluey sad like being stuck in glue and gloom.

Well this thread is really depressing me. I've been 100% for almost 7 straight solid months and feel not so hot at all. I keep on going - how long will it all take?

It is starting to make me feel the same exhilaration I felt when I was about 13 years old - sailing. That exquisite feeling of the brilliant sun burning my skin, the wind in my face, the smell of the water along with the cool wind in my nostrils and the thrill it gave me that THIS is living. And I will never forget the glistening sparkle of the sun on the water. Words cannot describe the vividness of that experience. Then at the end of the day - that beautiful glow on my skin from the sun. And do you know what - the other night, in bed, I had something happen to me at the age of 63 - the scent of that fishy water in my nostrils or in my head. It was as clear as a bell and it came back to me from that time spent on the water in my 'teens - and it was as if it was yesterday - it was definitely from eating raw food. I know it without a single doubt. :D

T-Bird, Do you take any supplements, super foods, vitamins or medications, including over the counter stuff? Also, do you consume soy or flax in any form? The reason I ask is because I'm like a canary when it comes to thees things and super sensitive. Whatever I put in my body affects me in different ways but overall they tend to mask my joy and make me not feel so good. Sometimes it's so subtle, it takes me weeks or months to realize something I'm consuming or using topically is affecting me. Then I stop using it and it's like stadium lights coming on replacing the darkness and it's like "Oh yeah, THIS is how I'm supposed to feel."
Sometimes I think a lot of people are like me in this sense, they just don't realize it. This could be way off base in your case but I always like to bring that up with people because you never know. Our natural state is that of joy, peace and happiness and if we're not feeling that way, often it's a simple solution. I know for myself, when I realize I'm not feeling well for longer than a day, I've gone off track somewhere and can usually trace the steps back to the cause.
Hope this isn't too "out there" for people.

Thanks Alicia,
I've been 100%, probably about 100 different ways, heavier/lighter foods, low fruit, high fruit, sometimes with b12 supplement, sometimes without, garlic and onion, no garlic onions. no soy at all - and I can go weeks w/o flax at a time.
I think it's just a waiting game, and I'll get there sometime.....thought I was almost "there" around 5 months, then slipped back down.
You lot go back to your
Lovefest!

T-bird, I'm sorry you are not feeling great. Sometimes its not all about the food, though. Do you have other toxic situations in your life that are dragging you down?
I thought about you today when I was feeling terrible and thrust back into the depths..and it wasn't anything to do with what i ate--it was feeling stuck in a bad situation and hopelessness.

Unfortunately, going raw is not a cure for everything. There might be other issues you need to address, such as oral/dental issues. Tens of millions of people are being chronically poisoned by mercury tooth fillings, nickel crowns, root canals, or jawbone cavitations that are not noticeably problematic. If 100% raw does not work for you, find a holistic dentist and get a checkup.

T-Bird, were you raw before you were 100% raw or did you start out 100% raw?
I've been high raw for 2 1/2 years. I felt rotten for the first 9 months of it. After that it's been amazing.
100% raw is my aim but I've never wanted to force myself to be 100%. When I first changed to the raw lifestyle I found that the more strict I was with myself the more I slipped up! So I've been easy on myself and promised myself I'll listen to my body and make changes when I'm ready.
I'm getting closer to stepping onto the 100% path and I've learned a huge amount along the way :)

I feel sensible, unemotional, at peace within myself and around me. I feel slender and a comfortable temperature when others are not. I feel healthy and pretty and joyful that I'm giving my body the best and it is responding with health! :) I just started back a few days ago and it's a night and day difference in my spirit!
