I just got my blender & was wondering what recipes you like to whip up!! I can't wait to try it!
I have made LOTS of things in a tribest -- I found that it could be used as a Vitamix or food processor, except it would sometimes need either more blending time or more cutting prior to blending.
I was able to make a tasty almond milk, some pates, pureed carrots spiced with nutmeg and with some bananas like a pudding.
Have fun with it! It really is GREAT for travel but just fine at home too. :)

Thanks Eva! Do you have any recipes...with the exact amount of the ingredients?
Off the top of my head, I only know the measurements for almond milk!
-1 cup sprouted almonds (soaked 2 x 8 hours, rinsed well)
-2-3 cups filtered water
-5-10 soaked dates, and the date soak water! Mmmm
-2 vanilla beans
-pinch of salt
Blend well, then strain in nut milk bag. I like to make scones with the pulp! :)
I make all my salad dressings in my tribest and smoothies and dips sometimes too. This recipe makes a great dip or leave it a little thicker for a sandwich spread. It reminds me of pimento cheese.
big handful raw cashews
small piece of garlic
pinch sea salt
about 1/2 of a red bell pepper
lemon juice for blending
about a half of teaspoon of white miso
blend cashews, garlic, and sea salt first to a powder texture. add in chopped pepper, miso and a little lemon juice to blend. add more lemon juice after blending some to get it to your desired consistancy.

Thanks...keep the recipes coming! The container is small so I'm not sure of the amounts of each ingedient to use. That's why I'd love to see what recipes & the amount everyone uses who owns one.
I made a Chocolate banana shake in it & it is awesome. This definitely has power! MUCH better than the Magic Bullet.

Make a Fruit or Green Smoothie. Use Fruit for the Fruit Smoothie. Use Fruit and Greens for the Green Smoothie.

Eilene.....I've been trying to get in contact with you because I'm really interested in getting your apple pie recipe....the one that you said all your SAD friends even want. I saw a picture of it on your knitting site, which is absolutely lovely....I'm a knitter also and enjoy your work and have gotten some wonderful ideas on your site. Sorry, this doesn't go with the subject of Tribest!

Jacsam...Thanks for the compliment about my knitting blog! I LOVE knitting!
The apple pie recipe is from Alissa's book! It's excellent! This one from The Raw Table (Yummy Apple Cobbler) is my all time fave...

Jen....I just tried your spread and there is a pimento cheese resemblence...THANKS! I can see where making dressings and spreads....the tribest would be really nice.
Eilene....I put together the apple cobbler last night (tried it first because I already had some of the crumble topping left over from another dish I'd made) and it REALLY is great! THANKS!!! I'm going to waite to make Alissa's until this one gets eaten. I've gone through Alissa's book several times and that recipe never caught my eye.
