Sprout question

Hey all, I have tried to sprout a few beans and they did well as far as sprouting but, my question is do they all taste the same? To me they all taste alot like alfalfa. I tried lentil, and chickpea(that was too hard so I tossed them.
I also have a question about sprouting buckwheat to eat not the lettuce kind I bought it at whole foods in bulk looked like the right kind but after the short soak that I read is recommeded they were basically falling apart HELP :(

I think they might all seem to taste alike because they have such a high water content.

No they do not all taste the same. Try sunflower sprouts and broccoli or radish sprouts and you will taste a difference, for sure.

Lentil and chickpea are very bland. There are a ton of sprouts to try, just look on www.sproutpeople.com for some ideas.

are you talking about the greens or sprouts?
