cuz I was not diligent enough....

I got lazy. I have established habits and I am still raw but started the mind game- oh , a little of this (item that actually causes bad things to happen in my body, like a sad cookie) wont hurt, I had a gs today- and before I knew it, the last few months have been a fight with cravings from hell.

Then I started getting some pains and symptoms and getting really cranky- turns out, I have a really nasty yeast infection:eek:

So NO more mind games! The pain and etc has been really awful. I did some reaserch on this forum and you guys had some great ideas. I hope I am on the mend now.

I do not think it was anything other than my diet. Adding wheat and some sugar back in the mix made me really ill. My cravings got so bad , last week I found myself eating things I wouldnt even eat anymore before I went raw. Ack!

I think that I was literally feeding the monster. The infection made my cravings almost unbearable.

I have a grip now, I think. I upped my exercise- we just joined the spankin brand new YMCA near my house and I am trying out several of the workout classes and taking yoga once a week. I started lifting weights a few weeks ago as well, which seems to help. I also upped my GS to 2 a day, one in the morning and one before bed. Afternoon Gs is a bonus round:) I restarted my MSM (which gave me awful insommia last night, but that willpass as I get used to it again), ordered a good probiotic called Living Stream, and I am going to do a course of Humaworm.

so theres my story. the moral is- watch out for the monster ! :D

That's a not so gentle reminder! Now your back on track and with a new program. Way to handle it! Have fun at the Y.

So, do I understand correctly.....your thinking is that eating wheat and sugar brought on the yeast in the first place, which then increased the cravings?

Hey! I got the Living Stream Probiotics and it's really good. Best stuff on the market. The only liquid live bacteria that I know of. It's really helped w/my yeast and digestion. It's powerful so don't take too much. I did another round of de-tox on it(mucus, head congestin, headache, achy muscles and joints)
I built up to about 6-8 drops a day once in the morning. Tried twice a day and it was too strong. :)

yay smoothie, glad to hear I got the right stuff=)

AYe I really believe I was dabbling in sad a bit too much, which brought on the infection, which made the cravings. Its just a guess, but since I seriously upped my green consumption in the last 48 hrs and laid off the yeasty stuff I got better. I was eating some sprouted bread thinking it was ok occasionaly, but then I can be a binger so that opened the door to lots of questionable....crap. I have issues with that=( I did however open up to my husband about the cheese and asked him to not buy what he was buying , because the cheese is almost addictive and I cant resist it right now.

It can be hard being raw in a SAD house=) but at least they like most of my food!
